"Each time I have the pleasure of attending a performance by CLIMBING POETREE, I feel enriched, renewed, and inspired. Alixa and Naima insist that poetry can change the worldand it is true that the urgency, power and beauty of their words impel us to keep striving for the radical futures toward which they gesture."

~ Angela Y. Davis, political activist, scholar, Distinguished Professor Emerita, UCSC

The THRIVE CHOIR was born to sing the music for the revolution. They are a diverse group of vocalists, artists, activists, educators, healers, and community organizers based in Oakland, California - directed by Bay Area musicians Austin Willacy & Kyle Lemle. Their heartfelt and soul-stirring original music is a fusion of gospel, soul and folk.

SHEA FREEDOM is a rising transgender singer-songwriter with a voice like an angel and lyrics that sing of equality and freedom. Sheas new album Stand Together Now is nothing short of magnificent as it is filled with soft vocals that echo emotion and an acoustic guitar that mirrors the rhythm of his love-filled heart. It was a privilege to interview this talented artist that stands up for everything he believes in.
~ Ryan Cassata, Strange Fire Magazine

SPARLHA SWA's Folk/Soul/Alternative music is honest and evocative. Mixing impeccable vocals and haunted modal chords, her songs speak to and about the human spirit. Music has carried this songstress far and wide, with tours throughout UK, Paris, the Netherlands, Japan, Brazil, and all across the US.

In collaboration with We Are Resilients production team this like all other W.A.R events is a high vibration is alcohol free, family friendly event.
